Smokefree 2030 - Section 31 Grant

Smoking cessation services across the country are starting to utilise the additional £78m Section 31 Grants as part of their commitment to supporting Smokefree 2030. For some of those services, this may take the form of building on existing services and simply doing more of what already works.

Other services and Local Authorities are looking to expand the scope of their offering to include a wide eligibility criteria, a new focus on alternative forms of tobacco harm, or smoking in pregnancy support.

At Wellness Strategy Solutions, we’ve already held eight seminars for smoking cessation teams across the country, and provided insight and guidance on how services can refine their marketing and engagement activity, introduce new quality assurance frameworks, enhance outreach and networks, simplify referral pathways and processes, upskill staff and use their service user data to introduce improvements to their delivery model. If you want to make the most out of your additional funding, and use this once in a lifetime opportunity to make a huge difference to your community, get in touch and let’s talk about how we can help you get to Smokefree 2030.
